Ride together, go further — carpooling made easy with FlexRide. A van of passengers travels from a pickup in Bonaberi, Douala to a destination in Mvan, Yaoundé. Drivers save on gas, tolls and other expenses; a security guarantee means drivers and passengers are registered and vetted; and a win-win model lets drivers charge a fare per seat while passengers have multiple travel options.

What are the requirements to drive with FlexRide?

To become a FlexRide driver, simply download the Driver app, create an account, and submit your registration. Our team will review your application and approve it once all requirements are met.

Drivers are required to provide:

  • A valid driver's license
  • A valid Carte Grise (vehicle registration)
  • Valid vehicle insurance
  • A car or motorbike in good operating condition

For Okada (motorbike) riders, fewer documents may be required depending on the registration category.

What are the requirements to ride with FlexRide?

Getting started is easy. Passengers only need a valid phone number to create an account.

Simply download the FlexRide Passenger app, sign up, and you're ready to book your first ride.

What is the FlexRide monthly subscription?

Our monthly subscription will be competitively priced to suit each market we serve. We're currently finalizing our pricing, and early members will enjoy exclusive discounted rates locked in for a specified promotional period.

What does "zero-commission" actually mean?

Zero commission means drivers keep 100% of every fare they earn, after any applicable taxes. FlexRide does not deduct a percentage commission from drivers' earnings.
